Philip Wolfram describes MPAS Ocean science

    We held our first DiscoveryJam at VisWeek 2016. Each scientist worked with a group of fifteen people, describing the science problem, the data and the analysis or visualization problem they faced. As of this writing, the scientists are working with workshop attendees on the data and ideas generated at the meeting.

    As you can see from the pictures below, it was a morning of intense discussion, full of ideas. Special thanks to Christian Stolte for taking these great pics!

    Here are the summaries of the science problems we worked with. There were lots of ideas generated during the sessions, and we’ll post results (papers, images, and anything else) as they come together.
